Scott Novak will be speaking at a continuing education program for accountants on the new section 199A regulations and the “gig economy” in Shrewsbury, NJ, on January 22, 2019. Scott will also be speaking on the topic at Ramapo College on February 4, 2019.  The new regulations provide, among other things, certain deductions for small businesses and Scott will discuss their application in the emerging “gig economy.” A gig economy is a free market system in which temporary positions are common and organizations contract with independent workers for short-term engagements.  Any CPAs interested in attending either of these events should contact Scott at (973) 228-9900.
