Mitchell Portnoi Settles Fractured Ankle Case for $300,000

Post, Polak partner Mitchell Portnoi recently settled a claim that was pending in Monmouth County Superior Court, on behalf of a 58 year old man who was attempting to enter his vehicle outside his townhouse after a snow storm. The parking area had accumulated “black ice” and this dangerous condition caused the Plaintiff to slip and fall resulting in a bi-malleolar fracture. He had two surgeries to his ankle and the insertion of hardware and screws. The case was settled for $300,000.
